Admissions FAQ

Common Application Questions

Get clear answers about our application requirements and process.

What should I include in my portfolio?
Your portfolio should show your current skill level and creative interests. Include 8-12 pieces created within the last two years, in any medium - drawings, paintings, photographs, digital work, or sculptures. Quality matters more than quantity. If you're a complete beginner, include any creative work you've done, even if it's not traditional art.
Do I need formal art qualifications to apply?
No formal qualifications are required for our Foundation programme. We welcome complete beginners who show enthusiasm and commitment. For our Diploma programme, we typically look for completion of a foundation course or equivalent experience, but we assess each application individually based on your portfolio and interview.
When can I start my programme?
We have three intake periods per year: September, January, and April. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but we recommend applying at least 6 weeks before your preferred start date to allow time for the full admissions process.
What are the payment options for course fees?
We offer several payment options including full payment in advance (with a 5% discount), termly payments, or monthly instalments. Payment plans can be arranged during the enrolment process. We also accept payment by bank transfer, credit card, or cheque.
Can I transfer between programmes?
Yes, transfers between programmes are possible subject to availability and assessment. If you start with our Part-Time programme and want to move to full-time study, or progress from Foundation to Diploma level, speak with our academic team who can advise on the process and any additional requirements.
